You hear about loads of stuff like that.
A pal of mine had bother with his knee for donkeys, had all-sorts done including surgery.

It turned out, according to a physio, he'd been walking funny since and ankle injury as a youngster and this had put his posture all to cock, which was what was causing his knee issues.

To the original hammy point, yoga and Pilates.

No wonder he had issues with his knee as he should have had a human knee and not a donkey’s one! I assume, nonetheless, that he scored a lot of backheel goals when he wasn’t making an ass of himself.

As far as injuries go with us I’m more concerned how long it seems to take the players to recover.

GMS pulled his hamstring in March and was out for 2 and 1/2 months.

Devlin was out for 3 months with a foot injury,I’ve seen players with a broken foot come back quicker than that.

Leigh has been out for a few weeks with a “minor knock”

There has been others over the years who take a lot longer to come back than they should.

You could argue that some of them are made of glass, especially GMS but it’s still strange that our players take longer to recover than players at other clubs.

I’m sure the new training ground will sort all of that out though
