Fulham is my fav away ground of the 60 odd I've been to. It's just perfect. Small, friendly, one of the nicest walks to a ground you could ever imagine. Very much has the feeling of an old fashioned ground .....Such nice pubs around the ground, all welcoming Rovers fans. You will sit with mainly Blackburn fans from the London supporters group which is surprisingly large. And the rest will travel down from up here. Great seats, hopefully you get a good result. I've seen us win 2 and drew one down there.

Mowbray reported as saying Rankin Costello and Buckley will be in the first team squad this season, great news!
I've bought my ticket for Fulham today

Rankin Costello could well find himself playing this season. Nyambe may even be used as Centre half more, but if we got someone in then that would be unlikely. He's had a superb pre-season.
Buckley, from what I saw, still looked very slight. A lovely footballer, but I thought lacked that extra physical presence. Yet he has also had a great pre-season and featured heavily. It would be fantastic to see him introduced aswell. I think Hart is also very close, and Maglorie.

Apparently both hart and Rankin Costello are being used in the first team picture this season.
Quote "hart was considered for a loan move but a good pre season puts him firmly in the first team picture"now if that's the case that will save us a fortune if both end up working out.
I am still pessimistic but the pieces seem to be falling into place(hopefully)

I've watched Rovers on 80 ish grounds but not Fulham

I still think we need another centre-half. I reckon we can cope as things stand, but we haven't got a natural replacement for Lenihan if he should get injured.
That's why I would prefer someone proven, like Hanley. He's no great ball-player, but neither is Lenihan. It's more a case of having one traditional no-nonsense type.

This German sounds like he could be the no-nonsense type. Equally.....Johnson can be a real nasty bugger. That's something our side severely lacks.
