I don’t think Scottish football is in a position that we should be expecting it’s a given that we will destroy teams from other nations.

Kilmarnock couldn’t beat a part time team from Wales never mind batter them.
No we should be battering them because they are nowhere near as good as a team as we are. Not because they are Georgians. Its not entitlement. How would they fair in our league. Relegation fight most likely.

Encouraging result but I wont be looking into our world beater status yet. Lets see how the manager deals with meaningful games in tournaments that aren't a waste of time, i.e the cups

Also- The Killie players are not too enamoured with the Italian according to a Killie fan I work with. The Euro result may have something to do with that. Modern fitba players in sulk shock

Not sure if the Kilmarnock players went to all of the effort of qualifying for Europe last season to not bother trying against the Welsh team because they don’t like the new manager.

I think the majority of SPFL teams would have a game on their hands against that Chikhura, most of the Scottish sides have been knocked out of Europe in the last few years against worse sides than them.

The way we played last night was very encouraging and I would like to think we will play like that against most teams in the league,I would be very surprised if we play like that against the cheeks but there will be plenty of opportunities throughout the season for the McInnes bashing.

The timing is a bit odd the day after we won 5-0.

    Absolutely.
They came back from 1 down in the first leg to win 2-1 away from home

they were a tricky team, with bags of pace and good foot skills / trickery.
We were well prepared to deal with them

    I agree.
We played well in the first RoPS game as well at home.

There were times last night we sat deep and let them have the ball, but then broke and counter attacked them. We'll likely see more of that against the cheeks
