If Slabhead if worth 85 million then Schar must be worth 65,
Mike must be praying our lot play outstanding till Christmas, If Joelinton scores a load before January then I can see Aston Villa spending 50-60 million on him to get them out of the bottom three.
There is only so long average players can go for tens of millions before the it all collapses. We could end up with an American draft system where the teams down the bottom of the league get first pick of the best youg players coming through.
Gareth Bale's offer of 1million pound a week tax free in China is a piss take,
In the Chianese leagues teams are not allowed to sign a foreign goalkeeper,
They want to develop their own keepers, I think the Chianese goalies must be able to set up fantastic walls for freekicks.
Ian Walker the old spurs keeper coaches there

The football world went mad a long time ago. This is just add ons to that madness.
Players getting huge wages is also a problem, Like Bale wanted to come back to the premier league but no team could or would pay his 600 grand a week.
I dont know what Zidane's problem with him. Oh yes Real Madrid don't have crap like Atsu, Arons and Murphy to play in his position, That Japanese kid Takefusa Kubo they signed a couple of months back looks good, We should try to loan him, He will be in the Real B team this season.
I don't think it's them actually getting paid them sort of wages that's the problem, it's the players greed. We see a player earning say 200-300k+ a week and just assume he won't go anywhere unless them wages are met or improved and that assumption is correct because he won't. But why, why can't a multi millionaire drop say 50-100k a week still earn stupid wages but be a legend at a lesser club, or in Bales case be a huge player at another huge club? They can that's the thing they just won't because of greed and it's ruined the game at the top level. Then there's the disgusting little crettins we call agents, but I'll leave that rant for another day.
Can't really blame them, imagine you could move to a different location to do the exact same job as you have now. Then your new employer offers you 10x your wages
Insane as he's nowhere near the ability of Van Dijk IMO. Good but not that good.
Regarding finances it's pretty simple; financial fair play regarding transfer fees, wages, sign-on fees and agent fees should be put into play - and actually count. Loopholes will be found I'm sure, but it would be much harder to get around if there were concise numbers put into place here. Would also make way for more equal competition.
Schar is better than maguire.
