If 32RED are helping to pay does this also mean that Leeds will be helping to pay for Rooney because that's their sponser as well

32RED seem to sponsor half the SBC so I wonder how our deal stands out differently now due to Rooney, and I wonder which came first the sponsorship or Rooney, MM stated on the back of rooney signing 32RED then made the incresased offer, but woithout us knowing about the offer theres no way we could begin to afford even half his wages.

On a side note I did read yesterday that DC United have waived the transfer fee

If that is so, maybe they could cancel his contract as soon as they are no longer in the playoffs or have won the thing. He would then be unattached and could start in October.........

On the financial side, I am confident that MM would have discussed this with 32RED as part of his "due diligence". I don't think we could have financed this deal and got the 2 other players in Cocu has been hinting at AND stayed within FFP.

[QUOTE=DCFCArmy;39291075]Lets be honest here this is a massive PR stunt by Morris

He's only doing it to get the clubs reputation up world wide, pimping us out to all kinds ffs

Bring back Nigel Clough imo, at least it was Derby County back then, not the granny globetrotters[/QUOTE

Not possible I'm afraid, he must be a free agent when the transfer window closes (tomorrow), for us to be able to play him before January.

The MLS window closes today so if they've torn it up then he is a free agent

Just been on some PNE boards, my god meltdown or what. Stories like third party ownership, who pays his wages if 32RED go bust, the EFL are Derby and Leeds biased, covering the shirt sponsor on their own shirts with cardboard, its hilariously funny
