We're in a constitutional crisis right now because of this particular debate we're having. I don't doubt that you or LB voted to leave and that Leave won the referendum. I also don't doubt that you now consider your leave vote to be to leave with or without a deal, and that in all likelihood your position between the two shifted after the referendum towards No Deal.

My point is that what was presented as Leaving the EU before the referendum is very different to what is presented today. All 17.4m people who voted to leave, didn't vote to leave without a deal. The most recent votes we've had on this prove that there is no mandate for No deal. A no deal does not have the support of Parliament, which is sovereign in our constitution.

So to get one through, we are now in a position where we are shutting down the fundamental part of our democratic constitution. And my point of view is that if you support that and you want democracy, then your reasoning is completely flawed.
