2019 recess to start between 9th and 12th of September and return 14th October.

This ‘suspension’ that is causing all this ridiculous fuss is in fact probably is no more than 5 days, at most a week.

Politicians have been debating Brexit for over 3 years, have not been able to agree on anything so why should we expect further debates to have any effect. There may not even be anything new to debate anyway in the EU doesn’t agree to any changes as the present offer has been rejected many times by Parliament anyway.

Bercow would probably stop a vote on the old agreement even if it was put to Parliament as a choice between what is on the table and a no deal.

The claim is that BJ is playing games to get what he wants. Of course the opposition and the eurosceptics are not playing games at all are they?
That’s a very interesting read Yarm.

To be honest......anyone moaning about what Boris has done doesn’t live in the real world.

ANY political leader worth their salt would always use any possible angle to gain an advantage.

Politics has never been “clean” and those on the losing end always cry “foul” when it goes against them.

No doubt thought up by strategist Dominic Cummings or possibly Rees-Mogg but no more than any of the other parties would’ve done if they’d needed to lose some time off the agenda.

    Suck it up losers.

This is a very good post. It is no more than 5 or so days yet they’ve had 3 years. Constitutionally correct YES. Even The Gruniad said it was according to this mornings Radio 4. Maybe a bit sharp practise but when was politics not?

Truth is, both sides are living in glass houses and should not throw stones. The Remoaners have had elements in parliament who have engaged in every sort of gerrymandering to thwart Brexit. 90% of the house voted to give the public a vote and agree the mechanism including Article 50. Their arrogance and lack of connectivity with those who voted for them never saw the answer they got back.

To pick up on a previous post from Leicester, Corbyn and more so McDonnel and the intellectually challenged Abbott are more of a risk to this nation with their loathing of capitalism than any No Deal could be.

Diane Abbott is a walking speech impediment.

Normally you’d see this calibre of imbecile collecting trolleys on Lidl’s car park but somehow she ended up in a lofty position in the most inept Labour Party of all time.

She was in a lofty position riding Corbyn’s knob. And what a prize knob this excuse for a human is too!
