I honestly couldn't give a toss if Greasy dived, whether he should have been booked or whether the goal should have stood. The online piss boiling has been epically hilarious, as have video clips of grown men ranting vitriol into mobile phone cameras at the top of their voices.

Things of absolute beauty rivalled by the online petition to have Kevin Friend removed from the list of Premier League referees. Thank you to all those responsible for playing your part, it's been a blast.

The irony that's lost on many and appears to have been largely overlooked being that Palace's goal came about because Grealish conceded possession to the Palace keeper very cheaply via a poor throughball to nobody in particular, and a former Villa player who never lived up to his pay packet took advantage of some truly Minging defending.

This isn't obsessive on my part, it's golden material on theirs. Superb stuff. It's just a pity the Greasy one stopped his Premier League losing run against Everton, otherwise he'd have been on the end of twenty two consecutive Premier League defeats. Still, there's always another losing run to be had.
