I was one of the missing ones! Blocks of empty seats everywhere, not seen that for a long time. Waiting for the time the FCB seats empty.

Yeah they could all season tickets in every attendance which is a nice way to defraud the numbers.

What to you think the 'critical mass' number will be; the attendance figure the where the majority of the fanbase number of fans which turn their back due to the stadium being devoid of atmosphere because all those passionate fans have left?

It is already apparent from the Watford match that a lot of the more vocal passionate fans have already left.

With or without the fans in the stadium TV money comes in, do you think regular attendances of 20-25k will convince the current owner to leave?

Some how I don't think so.

    It's a travesty!

I hope none of you are suggesting that the powers that be at the club tell lies,in this case over the attendance.😉

    Every club does it.

Remember when the Mackems use to report an almost full stadium when half the time it was half empty, but count in all those season tickets and voila.

I think it will make a difference to whether he stays or goes. I understand that FCB can plough on and ignore the low attendance and still get his TV money but it´s all about putting him more and more in a negative light and trying to make that straw that breaks the camel´s back. If he was going great guns in all of his other businesses then low crowds would have a lot less/no effect. But he isn´t and the message that Ashley is a complete c**t is spreading further and wider every day. That is not good for him or any of his businesses.
The funny thing is, if he had kept Rafa and spent what he spent this window, Newcastle could´ve been a great way to divert the business world´s attention away from his other business woes. He´s completely missed the boat on that one and shown that he isn´t as smart in business as many thought (including me) - instead, his incompetent managing of the football side of things at this club (an annual re-occurence) has piled more bad publicity and pressure onto him and his business empire.

I congratulate each and every one of you who has stopped going, whether this season or before. You are the supporters who truely love the club and you may well be able to look back in a few years and say that it was you that helped save it from Ashley.

Great post and hopefully more supporters will see sense and drive the crowds down to below 30K before the end of the season. Let’s face it the last League Cup game only attracted 22K and kids got in for a tenner.

When we were in the championship we had full houses and nobody seemed to complain...on both occasions.
Now we're back in the premier league it seems some people want crowds to dwindle in order to rid the club of an owner even though there's nobody to take the club on.

And some people are congratulating fans for not going to games and calling them true supporters who love their club.
So what does that make the fans that go to games? Not true supporters?

    It baffles me.

Plenty of people want to buy the club, the owner on the other hand doesnt want to sell.
