In my view,if you stand on a manifesto for a certain party then that should stand for the period of that parliament.

Anybody who wants to change party should be forced to resign on the spot and not allowed to take a seat as an MP until voters have voted them in.

In the intervening period before a bi election there “vote” should automatically be placed in favour of the party they stood for at election time.

The hypocrisy of people like Soubry,Umuna ( who’s on his third party this parliament and this lightweight who swopped to the Dib Lemmings today is breathtaking.

yes and the people who voted him in,must feel cheated.they voted for a Tory candidate not a lib/dem.i always voted labour (did) not the candidate,I know that seems a bit silly but that’s how I was bought up old man always said were labour voters.not any more.hypocricy not the right word for them there’s got to be a more damming word.
