Losing Sow is no great loss, whats the point in having a player that cant actually play without risk of injury???

We've got Clark who was good for u last season who for some reason has been written off this season? Smith who is a natural no.10 and was PFA POTY at St Mirren just the other season. These two IMO are far better options than Sow. Add to that McMullan and Pawlett can both play upfront too
Agree with OA here, we are no too bad on cover up front. Sow has been a major disappointment.

More concerned about cover for the centre halfs. Think we should have kept Frans in that regard.

I get what you’re saying there OA but none of those options offer height, which may be a hindrance in some circumstances should Appere not be available.

I know what you're saying mate but mind oor teams full of big b@stards now, not the wee saft team we were a few seasons ago. We do have height in the team now. Shanklands no a short erse either mind, plus not having height means no playing the high balls which is a bonus in the league as we've found out the past 4 years.

Agree. None of the players quoted are what you would call an out and out number 9. I still feel we are light in the striker position.

    Edit to add.

We should just sign Durnan again and he'd be cover for CB and CF

Saying that reminds me how good it was having the big man in his prime. Put your hands up!

This Frear deal must be the most protracted deal ever!

After all this I hope he doesn't turn out to be Tom Kite.
