MillersMad Matchthread - Doncaster Rovers v The Millers

Today will probably see the end of our 100% away record! Doncaster Rovers will be one of the toughest oposition that we'll face because this match means so much to them.

Let's face they are a team without real rivals, they are too far away from Sheffield to be concerned with them, Barnsley fans are fond of them and we just don't consider them as rivals at all. In fact I don't even think of Doncaster Rovers at all being in the same league as us. I don't meen to be disrespectful but I have to be honest. The videos that are streamed on social media show their fans singing anti Millers songs which is an indication of their hate towards us.

2 seasons ago when we met in the league there were 2 good games, one finished with an injury time goal from Keiffer Moore and at home Newell was brave enough to take and score an injury time penalty.

A repeat of their dissapointment will be a great treat for us but it will be tough.

Enjoy the game Boys and Girls!

On one hand Price worries me in goal a bit but on the other he’ll be keen to prove his point. (If he starts over Bilboe)
The Attacking players we have are going to click and put someone to the sword soon enough. May as well be today.
The crowd will lift The Millers today. Just hope we stay behind them if we go a goal down.

We have a range of options now with the players in the squad. I can see 2 formations being played with us starting with 433

Hastie straight in! Morris and Lindsay start too. Thompson and Lamy on bench. Ogbene must be out injured. Still looks like 4-3-3

I thought that there may be some changes but I'm surprised at how many and a new 442 to boot.

Looking forward to this. Seems ages since I saw a game.

    Presume Mattock still not 100%?

I have a strong feeling for a streaky 1-0 win today, although a draw wouldn't be a bad result.
