Whilst I understand Johnson's sentiment he's sailing very close to the wind in my opinion .
If the highest court in the land declares he's misled the queen and parliament then he's misled the queen and parliament and that's that .
The problem now is that parliament and the remainers have gained the moral high ground and he managed to unite the opposition party's and who knows how many enemy's he's made in his own party .
Whilst ever leave could bang the democracy drumb and rightly claim we are leaving then Johnson comes along and gifts them the initiative by acting undemocratic and now the highest court in the land says he is .
Who knows where we go from here .
I know that you won't accept it, Biggie and I am not going to engage you in a WanChai style circular argument, but you are plain, vanilla wrong on this.
The government declined to provide any evidence to the court upon the reason for proroguation. The court had to decide if it had jurisdiction in the matter and then whether the government had acted reasonably and rationally. In the absence of any evidence from the government, the court was entitled to draw its own conclusions.
Good luck with that one Biglad, once he has his teeth in your ankles he waint let go...trust me...He does have a point though

I thought you might like me to look after the victims of socialism
It is not anti democratic to give parliament what it wanted, it had been saying for months that a new queens speech was needed and that an Election was warranted and all Boris did was do what had been called for and suddenly because the people who had called for it decided that the time for an election was not politically good for them they had the law fight their battle for them.
Think Kerr is upset that the Tory Party is in disarray, and their leader has disgraced himself. Kerr doesn't seem to know much about history or politics though. Tony Blair was a lawyer and he didn't either
I can't actually remember any of that from Boris Biglad but maybe I missed it...
Boris has indeed disgraced himself but Kerr does not do criticising the tory party. Now the Labour party that's different...
