Thread: 6 down, 30 to go, next up Morton at home

I think Robbie does play his best 11 every week. The only changes he's made this season have been because of injury or personal circumstance (Brown having a baby).

So going by that McMullan wouldn't make your best 11?

Sometimes yes. I can understand Smith getting a chance when he did though.

He had sickness through the week so didn't start

He has played more than anyone else since Neilson arrived and improved under him

TTT is spot on, only changes have been through injury really

Also it was Neilson who put in Appere beside Shankland, no one was calling for that until Neilson played them and they saw it worked

Of course, I had forgotten about that. Not the only one, obviously. 🙂

But he was fit enough to come on and change the game.
We have no idea how fit or unfit he was.
Anyway it's academic because no poster will ever convince you or Shedka regarding our manager (being stubborn and fallible) so I won't waste my time

I think the obvious answer to that is yes.

Maybe not Appere , but there were plenty supporters crying out for Robbie to play someone up front with Shankland in a two up front formation. Then he did it, and it worked a treat. Then he changes it for the Ayr game, maybe even surprising them. Then plays Shankland on his own against Arbroath at home! I like Robbie and hope he is here for the duration, but sometimes his decisions baffle me.

I think we should always play someone up top with Shankland and get a reputation for doing so, letting teams from the off know we mean business in EVERY match and any two up front including Shanks should be enough to worry any team in this league.

Saw that they worked and everyone was happy as **** at the outcome then he suddenly decides the thing that’s working needs changed? Frustrating as ****. Don’t you think?

I agree with and disagree with alot that's said on here. But, you ken what? I support United and have from my first game 42 years ago. I believe Robbie sees them in training day in and day and therefore is the best judge for picking the team on Saturday? I would prefer 4-4-2 but it aint my decision and I aint gonna pretend that I ken more than he does. Onwards and upwards chaps, we're in a far better position now than we were before he joined us it's a work in progress for all x
