As they are only interested in forcing through a no deal brexit, if we go to an election, they will make all kinds of promises not concerned about accountability. They won't care if they are thrown out within a year with the country in ruin, as long as they get no deal and their backers get to move in on the assets
It works, to an extent, Corbyn promised to splash the cash in 2017 and the Tories promised cuts, the result was that the Tories lost their majority.
Now Johnson is promising to splash the cash.
But anyone who believes manifesto promises is a fool.
83% of the MPs elected in 2017 were elected on manifestos that promised to deliver Brexit.
Wouldn't it be nice if politicians honoured their manifesto pledge. Maybe it should be made legal that they honour their manifesto promises.
Labour promised £10 minimum wage at their conference so now the Tories have promised £10.50.
Lib Dems will probably promise £10.99 shortly.
You can tell an election is coming.
A joke really.

Any rise in income is welcome no matter which Government is in power.
It’s over a period of 5yrs isn’t it for 21yr olds upwards.
Have they mentioned how their going to fund it ? Will it be the employer that funds it ?
Labours is £10 per hr for 18yrs old, implemented immediately.
I hope that money tree is a big one.
The not so studious students believed that nonsense that Dianne Abbot costed out and they voted on that basis to back Labour in that last election. If Corbyn hadn't done a "u turn" and supported coming out of the EU like he always has, they would have been in a strong position but the hard extremist momentum group has been given too much control in the party and they are running the show now.
