Regarding the 'dark arts', although Leeds under Revie were successful there was a very thin line between playing within the rules and transgressing them. They often pushed it to the limit. Let's face it, they did not earn that reputation for nothing. Having said this, I am not inferring that the present side play in that way.
Nowt against your club, you have always been around in my long, long association with LUFC. I find it funny how other teams fans seem to drag the past up year after year, what is it? Nigh on fifty five years????...First season we got promoted we lost the league on goal diff and FA cup in extra time it went down hill from there on in....mainly caused by the bias Manc and London dirty rags, they did a good number on us huh! Made sure that team from up North were known for the wrong things......makes me laugh when errr fans still get sucked in.....ahhhh dirty LEEDS, we luv it!

Anyway you have a good squad and a decent manager I have time for. Good match up yesterday, nice to see we could cope and came away with a clean sheet and the points, if, sorry when!....we go up, this is the type of game we will be expecting week in week out. Good luck with your season I personally think it will be us two going on yesterdays game.

Hi, I went to your first cup final against Liverpool in 65, the referee that day came from West Bromwich his name was Bill Clemonts . Dad won the tickets at a raffle at the social club , Bill used to come in the club i'm sure the tickets come from him. Did John Collins play in this game , remember him later having thigh bone smashed in a Fairs cup game.

In fairness, I only brought the past up because it was claimed that historically Leeds are a bigger club than us which I don't believe is correct. Figures appear to back me up.

I agree Leicester. Compared to last season when we were an accident waiting to happen we look more solid at the back. I thought we defended very well v QPR and we were pretty good against a dangerous Leeds side. Why o why we were trying to walk it in with 60 seconds left when we could have pulled the trigger on a couple of occasions I don’t know but in my eyes we didn’t look s bad side for the division we’re in. Just need a striker

Bringing up (and hating) our past wasn’t aimed at you mate....

Not really bothered about this biggest lark. I just support my team, big or not.

Good luck for the rest of the season, as long as you finish just behind us!!

Fully accept your response and it's good that opposing fans can have disagreements without resorting to abuse and can conduct their differences in a polite and respectful manner.
