As the lowest club in the competition that money will be invaluable to them. However, they have decided to give a portion of this to Bury, an extremely magmanimous gesture. If a cub of this stature can do this, why couldn't the likes of Man. Utd., Man. City, Liverpool, etc. have done the same. A million pounds would be nothing to these clubs and if a half dozen or so of them had done this Bury would still be in the Football League. No wonder the Premiership is called the 'greed league'.
