Truly 1959-60, I think the whole lot of them are playing out a ridiculous charade at our expense. I can see nothing but self interested, disingenuous scumbags wherever I look...

It has taken you some time, BT, however, you now seem to have seen the whole shebang for what it is and has been for many years. As you have said "the whole lot of them are playing out a ridiculous charade at our expense." ----sadly, there are very few exceptions to this rule.
Heaven knows where it will all end

"On the day we were meant to leave the EU, new figures published by the ONS show Britain’s gross contributions to the EU have increased to a whopping £398 million-per-week. When excluding VAT & GNI adjustments, this is up by 8.5% from 2017 to 2018 (exclude VAT & GNI adjustments)."

Must be time for the Boris Bus to put in an appearance with the new massively increased figure of £398 million on the side. It used to say we sent them £350 million a week, those were the days, if only.

MPs are cashing in by claiming taxpayers’ money to rent homes in London while letting out *properties they own in the capital. 165 politicians had sold taxpayer-subsidised second homes for at least £42million profit.

There you go lads ! The politicians are there to serve the people, well times have changed now they are out to screw the people! It will never change and you all do not realise it. .Its a question of 'morality'. There is nothing to stop politicians from screwing you, when we elect politicians to serve in Goverment. Nothing in the manifesto, policy, charter, intentions, etc ,are there to prevent, the present parties in screwing you! So go ahead and vote for the Torries ,Labour, Lib dems etc. Then it's a matter of time before you will be 'screwed again!' But thats life , we have to suffer before we realise! Change the present political system!!!

You answered your own and everyone else's question with your post # 37, but the system will never change as a proper one would mean Politicians would have to do what they say and promise, which seems to go against the grain nowadays as all prominent people seem to get praise, a pay rise or better thought of for failing in their basic duties.

believe it Alto.......as is no different than at other times - they repeatedly break their promises, find excuses, forget....and time and again the People make the same mistake, like a masochist addicted to suffering....All 'they' want, is our freedom, to restrict us, to suppress....allowed them when the People determine to hand 'them' the helm of Power - they then replace our ideas with 'their' ideas of truth, their idea of right and wrong.....it's madness, time and again, the People are fooled by the 'illusion' of choice , that 'they' care - that they know best - and all it took, is a tick by a word....Do they know what/who was behind that tick ?...what each one means to each individual - No - they dont care, They just need the peoples agreement, that accomplished through the Vote - It's a contract to strengthen their hold - a deal that grants them the space to Reign and make the Rules...making us Culpable, a violation to ourselves....reason why I have nothing to do with it !

If politicians will not change, then a different leadership should replace it. People are chosen that can be any Tom, Dick or Harry, perhaps they have some qualifications lawyers ,bankers etc,or some great orator? What is needed are ''spiritual moralist.'' A new class of leadership, not religious ,but spiritual. Spiritual in that their ideal is ''to encompass the whole'', and that service to all beings, all of creation, animals, plants etc, is service to God. Yes, a great change,if we do not change then what will then change? We have to know who we are and what is the 'goal' of life??

Marx and Engels studied the faults of Capitalism, and gave us Communism, but that failed ,they did not understand fully the human being. The physical and mental sphere's are not enough, we are spiritual beings!
Society must include 6 pillars for it to take the human society forward, they are :

    1) A Spiritual Philosophy 2) A Spiritual practise 3) A Socio-economic theory 4) Social Outlook 5) Scripture (inspiration) 6) Leadership.

Does any political party /society in the world have these qualifications, accomplishments suitable for a particular task in the society?

Ok, you say but this is an Utopian dream? But we have a Socio -Economic theory called Prout, (Progressive Utilization Theory). It is being slowly developed in over 150 countries.
''To be or not to be that is the question?'' It has the 6 pillars!
