I cannot understand how we can get hammered in Dumfries by a struggling team then demolish a better team up in Inverness, that better team(ICT) travelled 233 miles midweek to the border and comfortably beat the team that hammered us.
Is it any wonder the bookies make millions?,its a funny old game right enough.
The difference is in those games Neilson played quite a few out of position including both full backs and kept tinkering mid game with whos playing left mid, right mid, beside shankland and so on.

Great team display today and special mention to Watson at CH - a Darren Dodsesque performance and that's all we need.

McMullan too back to being the dangerous wee cnt we all know he can be but honestly guys we were excellent and ICT didn't have an answer.

MOM for me is shared jointly between our centre midfield pairing of Harkes & Butcher.

If we drop our standards on Friday after that showing today I will be fuming.

Glad to hear that Watson played well today as he has taken a lot of flak on here.Watching Dundee FC last night everything went through Dorrans,he even drops to his own 18 yard box to get possession.I would suggest a very high pressing game is the best way to go and do not allow him space or time in the midfield.
I thought Morton deserved a point and without Dorrans playing they would have got at least a draw. Its also worth remembering we gave both these teams 6(SIX).

We should be playing a high pressing game, EVERY GAME! Been saying it from the start of the season. Less chance of losing goals with most of the play in the opponents half, obviously! When we start trying to play safe, and string it across midfield/defence, we simply invite the opponents onto us, and in the games we lost this season, we did exactly that!

3 wins. 3 clean sheets. Plenty confidence going into the derby. Roll on Friday.

Seriously though, great result. Wasnt there today but the messages i was getting at half time were from pretty similar minded chaps as myself saying we should have been 4-0 up by then. Messages after the game saying we were tremendous.

Amazing what happens when we put players in their right positions though eh i wonder how negative trying to fit Pawlett into the team really is eh...

P.S good to see Connolly back!

P.P.S heard Watson was outstanding at CB
