Unfortunately it happened when Ed Milliband stabbed his brother in the back and was then in charge. More power as regards voting was given to the unions and a lot of them being further left than centre backed Corbyn, otherwise under normal circumstances he wouldn't have stood a chance.

In that situation Labour no longer stands a chance until they return to more centre left stance and remove the extreme lefties who, although in a minority have a majority of the power and that is unethical as well as undemocratic.

How many of you do really care about the NHS and it's unique place in our culture and it's place globally as one of the best health services ever?

if you do, then the tories will decimate it, regardless of what there are doing in the election run up. The Brexit party aka Farage, believes in the free market! LDP are sound on it and the Labour Party positive re no privatization. It is not about a leader but a party and it's manifesto's. Do not get sidelined by leaders, these will be manipulated and used. It's the power behind them that will count.

I also have stopped reading any press as they all appear to be biased and not neutral in their analysis. I would ban them all on telling us who we should vote for, as they distort the truth according to their owner.

Good luck in whatever you decide. And for those that say they will leave the country depending on who gets elected - get real and grow a pair.

The NHS is a very good point to make a decision on which way to vote.A lot of NHS patients are actually getting referred at the moment for treatment at private hospitals to cope with demand/back log whatever you want to call it.
So this for me shows which way it is going to go if the Tories get back in.The NHS must be looked after and money must be found to improve it.We all use and have used it and will continue to do so as long as it's there.

if you look at the figures the number of staff since 2010 to 2017 had gone by 30,000 that includes a reduction of nearly 25% in management - regards private hospitals it is the right of everybody to be treated in the place of their choice that is why i know of 3 people who have had knee replacements done in a private hospital whilst under nhs care

That's why you see so many trailer parks in the States, a lot of them are owned by people who had massive hospital bills and sold their houses to pay for them. A lot of Americans come to Canada to buy prescription drugs too at a fraction of the price they would normally pay over there.

Any Conservative government that turned the NHS into a US type of healthcare system would be responsible for the parties extinction.

Won't happen ! What will happen (if Corbyn becomes PM) is the economy in tatters.
