    Hrk

Again gets a higher rating for a few minutes than Austin for most of the match.

    HAL ROBSON-KANU – 8

If only the striker could have the same impact from the start as he does from the bench he would be some player. Dispatched the penalty with ease and saw his header hit the post. Perfect substitute performance.

It would be great if Bilic could get the best out of him for the 90.......failing that, great impact sub. (mine)

I know he's come on and made an impact lately, but that's where I think he's best placed.

He's an impact player. I wouldn't start him.

I would start either Austin or Zohore, and bring HRK on for the final 20/30.

I agree 123, but I do wonder if anyone has given him the right encouragement to develop his full capabilities. Might be too late but you never know. Bilic has put faith in him and obviously sees what he can do.

If we do go up a serious amount of thought and cash is going to be needed for two proven strikers.

We can’t go into another Prem campaign with a Brown Ideye or Rondon or with Robson Kanu/Zohorre strike force.

Next time we have to have learned lessons......a 7-9 goals a season striker is simply not acceptable in our number 9 shirt.

£50m minimum must be put into the front combo.

I think a striker who scores anything above 10 a season would be a good return in the prem. If you look at his stats, Rondon did that every season apart from the season we went down.

Not many prem strikers outside the top 6 clubs break double figures...

Played well when he came on. That said, while I don't mean to sound harsh he really should've claimed himself a hat-trick. Good impact sub' though. Well done over the last few games HRK, keep it up please chap .

Rondón scored 9,8 and 7 league goals in his three season gradually getting worse!

24 league goals in 108 league games is dreadful from your main striker.

He only scored 10,8 and 10 in those three seasons even if you include cup games against lower league teams.

An abysmal return for any clubs supposed talisman.

I honestly believe that if we’d stuck G Mac or Dawson at centre forward for those three seasons they’d have scored more with their heading prowess and willingness to go in where it hurts.

Rondón had a heart the size of a pea.

If we go up we need a transfer window like the last one to do well. We need some odiouswhingies rather than rondon'ts. That's why I think we should have waited until summer to commit to another year for HRK.

    Correct.

We need speed and mobility like Odemwingie gave us.

I actually think Austin will be more use in the Premier,I’m not sure the hustle and bustle of this division suits him.

I believe the HRK knows he cannot put himself about for 90 minutes so if he starts a game he seems to play within himself to save energy so consequently he is not really very dangerous and offers little. But when he comes on with say 25-30 minutes left he can go all out for that length of time so becomes a dangerous, useful player. He really should have scored that header when he hit the post and Austin must be wishing that he got chances like that. But at the moment he aint really getting into those positions to get on the end of passes like that, so kudos to HRK for at least getting into the area to receive the pass.
