A top draw post.....couldn't agree more......Like competition in any sport but football is one of the worse for all that stuff...That it is still happening in 2019 shows the antiquated view many have to a game......Don't urinate on my patch mentality...real tribal stuff....
That lad in your link is improving but horrendous injuries......something similar happened to an Albion supporter recently while supporting his national team...although I still haven't heard exactly what transpired...

I don't think any of the posters are promoting violence against other team's supporters.
There are many things I don't like. Cauliflower for example. I've never kicked the crap out of one though.
Whilst I dislike villa I have more respect for their followers than I have the glory hunting fans of manure, liverspew, spud, chelski etc.
Still enjoy seeing them lose though

Chris, it was not my intention to suggest that anyone on here was promoting violence against another’s team’s supporters. However, there was mention of violence in previous posts on this thread, hence the reference to the link. I, like many, have a dislike of some clubs but hatred of a supporter of any club, who is no different from me, is the bit I don’t get!

One wrong whack, whether it be a kick or punch, and the result to the individuals and their families can be catastrophic.
Football does have a history of violence that no other sport has, we all know that. Football is favoured by a minority moronic section of society that it would be nice to eradicate
