Second half and Man City come out dominating the football.....Liverpool first real attack in the second half and Bham! 3-0 with a well taken goal.

    Well I hate to disappoint.

But Warniola and Guardiola seem to have more in common than we first thought.

This is an amazing game, 60 minutes gone and Mane hasn’t dived yet.

So what's your preference, crap refs or crap VAR? At least with crap refs you don't have to wait 5 minutes for someone to spot the infringing toenail (to give an example).

Mmmm...3-1 but Klopp not happy this time as the ball had gone out and he wanted to make a substitution but the Ref ignored him and City went on to score. Also the foul committed should have been a free kick to Liverpool. Some interesting Reffing in this match today.

Plus with “standard” refereeing the ref is in the spotlight, not some anonymous person ( who might or might not) have taken a prematch bung that can make decisions without personally taking the flak.

What we have now is football that’s basically an “analogue” game being reduced to a “digital” decision where decisions are made with a resolution of film that doesn’t match up.

To be honest there are some decisions that might suggest that.

Such is the humongous amount of money at stake in the game and the betting that supports it would it be that much of a massive leap of faith to suggest that officials could be bribed?
