Also some seats at one end, I’ll take it that it’s the small bit

The away terrace is 1000 capacity, then likely to have some seating in the car park / airport stand, so maybe 1200 tickets.
They average attendance this season is 1,600, and the ground holds 5,500 apparently, with a new stand being constructed

Wasn't there but I think that was the game Peter Carr scored a spectacular goal which maybe included lobbing one defender and nutmegging another.

Sounds good. Another tricky Cup game.
Ground looks fine to me, bring it on.

Moors was also their nickname so I've been told.
Apparently not, they were founded in 2007 after the merger of Moor Green and Solihull Borough.

Solihull Motors would be an appropriate name though since they're next to a car plant.

Yes CAM, Peter Carr did score (rare!) a good goal in that game at Boston. Thought he might become another Mark Rhodes, but sadly not. He seemed to disappear shortly after that season.

From speaking with him I got the impression that he didn't fit in with/get on with Emlyn when he came in the summer of 81. Coincidently I think he went on to play for Boston part time while working at DC Cook. He said financially doing that he was better off than when he was with the Millers. How times have changed!
