    From Stanley twitter;

     JC on
    @OfficialRUFC
    - “They’ve got a good stadium and a couple of players we know.

“They’ve been doing well but when we get it right, we believe we can match anybody.”

JC on Mark Hughes - “We appealed it and we lost, so he’ll miss the game on Saturday.

“He’s a very intelligent footballer, and the fact he’s played so many games it testament to his ability, but also his fitness.”

Think Stanley are talking about Matt Crookes.
That's where he first came to prominence and he got a transfer to Rangers with Josh Windass

I have no faith we are gonna arrest our poor home form if we are gonna just keep pumping the ball up to smith in a 4 5 1. Warne needs to try summat different to break these teams down. We need to play Ladopo at the side of Smith and tell him his job is sniffing in the box. If he has to stand in the box all game goal hanging that will do for me. It is up to the rest of the players to get the chufin ball to his feet with decent passes. Our passing in the final third at Lincoln was woeful so I hope Warne has been working on this in training.

Also Michael Icky who was on loan at Stanley.

    Here's what could happen Saturday.....
Donny and Shrews are not playing so we won't drop down the table.
Burton, Bristol R, Sunderland, Portsmouth and Fleetwood are not playing.
A win could take us into 4th place depending on the results of other games.
or....we could end up just outside the playoffs...
or I could be talking absolute b@llax and we lose.

To quote Lolmorgan....they build us up and let us down...

    Millers 2-0...😃

I agree that we should play Freddy. But, who would you leave out if Matt Crookes drops to midfield? Would Crookes/Freddy work?

Play Crooks behind Smith and Freddie a sort of 4 3 1 2 or even a 3 4 1 2 now we have Thompson and Robertson back.

    eg 3 4 1 2

    Iversen

    Iekwe, Thompson, Robertson
    ogbene, wiles, Lyndsey, Hastie
    Crookes
    Smith, Ladapo

    or for 4 3 1 2

    Iversen
    Olasunde, Iekwe, Robertson, Mattock
    Ogbene, Lyndsey, Hastie
    Crookes
    Smith, Ladapo

Bobs ya uncle..3 precious points at 5pm on Sat.

Listen to your Uncle Roly Paul Warne!

Matt Crookes doesn't seem to play consistently well at home so PW could consider a straight swap with FL so the midfield could stay the same.
Harsh on Crookesey though as he's been one of the stars away from home

Flour, that's a decent shout but won't go down well with some. I don't know what it is but Crooks doesn't look half the player he is when playing at home, okay two simple goals against Coventry but that's about it. Away from home he plays like a free spirit and he seems to play ay a different level but why?????

I'd like to see a run with Freddie and Smith and if it ain't working come half time, then it can be changed but, it doesn't always work if you are having to play catch up.

Crooks is having a decent scoring season but he needs to remain consistent in his approach to 'every' game as do others.
This is not a dig at Crooks by the way.

You could say that about a few players Brin.

I honestly think it's a confidence thing at home. It's usually fairly quiet unless we score early. (or it appears that way on iFollow)
