Surely if them company’s struggle it we will have to use tax payers money to bail them out, it just seems like a risk for no reward.

Roly I know you know more than me on this so can you tell me
You will still have to pay for most of those but Labour are going to make broadband free by taxing tech companies.

Yeah right. That's why they covered up Johnson's embarrassing performance at the cenotaph last week. The BBC played 3yr old footage of a more "polished" BJ rather than the shambolic buffoon that turned up this year. Supposedly a production error. Yeah, right.

Imagine if it had been Corbyn getting his timing hopelessly wrong and placing the wreath upside down. the Tory media would have had a field day and you lot on here would have bust a gut

A big problem is lack of clarity on exactly how much public money is already being used to prop up failing or struggling private companies that have been "entrusted" with running essential services e.g. Rail franchises, BT broadband network, NHS PFIs etc. It will run into billions....but exactly how much? If we had more facts we'd all be better able to understand the pros and cons of nationalisation and make a more balanced judgement.

Personally I think the answer to that would be a governmental database of national wide company’s with the public being able to view the profits online. We already have news feeds on this on news channels.

I’m not against nationalism but I’m not sure it’s beneficial in any way

Like the database a Labour government would have when it nationalised BT

All that data about who you are, what you do, where you bank etc etc

    Sounds good

I didn’t read silly-millers post as meaning he wanted a ‘ big brother’ watching us. It came across to me that he may want to know what taxpayers money has been used to assist private companies.
    Maybe it’s me that’s read it wrong..👎
