Yet out of the blue without any provocation on my part after the last match he came on and stated that I was an Owl fan and had not been to the match. I have suggested to you before that when a guest on another team's forum you ought to behave more respectfully. Why you and animal come here so consistently is a mystery but you could both learn manners from Acido, a proper gent.
Show us all where I stated that" you were KerrAvon"
or where roly has posted that he was upset at being called an oaf
Neither of those comments are true
Your fantasies are getting the better of you or you can't read
And I'm sure Acido will be thrilled to have found an admirer such as yourself

His argument was that anyone who earns £80k isn't anywhere near the top 5% of earners when you include say solicitors, dentists, vets, accountants
No he wasn’t a doctor. His rant let him down, even claiming he’s not in the top 50% never mind the top 5%. Maybe he is maybe he isn’t, out of touch with salaries and wages.
If he was earning £85k then possibly he would only be worse off around £7 per week, that’s just on income tax.
Tax the high tech and billionaires like the Duke of Westminster who inherited £9B.

    Barnsley fans:

I don't prefer any of them. They're a dangerous lot.

They can type faster, they pack a punch and they kick hard.

That extra finger on each hand and the extra toe on each leg sees to that.

Love the Billy Casper accent. Just no nonsense stuff. It has to be the best "yorkshire accent"

I can just picture the scene at school with his long suffering teacher-and he is obviously one of the brighter ones!

They also have the weirdest pets in my experience...

I try not to knock anyone's profession, not unless I've been there and done it.
    £80K may sound a lot but I don't actually know his circ.umstances.
If raging pup is correct about people being prepared to add 1p on income tax then add it to anyone over the average wage. Experience tells me they won't like it one bit.

Put an extra penny on income tax but let us have some choice where our tax goes. All we hear is what extra revenue will be raised and where it will be spent. Let the tax payer decide where the extra money is spent?

Let's see where the appetite lies to spend the extra money, from the people who generate it.

If income tax goes up a penny and raises £40b, let's choose where it goes. Especially the top 5%, who Corbyn wants to pay for the lot)

    Education
    Health
    Immigration
    Services
    Environment
    Benefits
    Social Care
    Wellbeing
    Transport
    Energy
    Defence
    etc etc.

Give us 15 to 20 choices and let us fill a percentage (increments of 5%) against some (max 25%) or all of the boxes.

Be a lot more palatable than anything currently suggested.

Especially from the raving socialists on here. Those decent chaps with that age old ideology that the world would be a better place, if they were allowed to spend other people's money. To be fair it can be, for 5 minutes, until the that money runs out.

Democratic Socialism is not generosity. it is a political view — and one that has historically had outcomes more despicable than heart warming. Fact.
