Another steal from the podcast which had been discussing Craig Browns tenure (according to Twitter anyway)

Cormack said on Monday that himself and Milne still own almost 50%,these new guys on the board are here to support them not take over.

True but Milne is on the way out, it'll take time till he's completely gone but as things stand, Cormack is the new sheriff.

That’s true but as long as he in lingering around the place like a bad smell McInnes will have a supporter on the board.

He hasn’t got the safest job in football anymore though, I would be surprised if he is still here this time next year.

I think (assuming we finish 3rd) he might get one more crack at Europa League qualification.... no laughing at the back.
I think if we finish 4th & we don’t win the Cup, he might be sacked, particularly if 4th doesn’t get Europe. 4th only gets Europe if the same team wins the League & Cup, that is more in doubt than ever this year.
And anyway, finishing 4th two years on the trot would be failure & below where we should be.

I also think Cormack might put a higher price on entertainment, but that remains to be seen.
And McInnes can’t &/or won’t change his pragmatic style.

.... to be replaced by a soccer coach who wants us to kick the ball in to the net sack more often, with the emphasis more on OFFence compared to “DEE”fence.
    Go Westhill.

    Not true.
4th place gets into Europe if any of the top three who have qualified for Europe wins the cup.
Its not solely for the league winners

The truth is we're nowhere near the level required to negotiate past q3 , McInnes has never managed it. Maybe witha new coach and the potential "bounce factor" we might get with the correct appointment we MIGHT get past q3 and have a crack at the play off round . It's a big ask just now though with a squad of the "quality" we have at the moment.

McInnes doesn't have the know how to do it. He tries the same thing ever year.

Absolutely, it's a big ask . They keep rabbiting on about the group stages, Cormack seems to be highlighting that as an immediate target. We're way off that level at the moment though , we need to find a way to get past q3 and get a crack at the play off round first , and you can see by that list how difficult that task is.
