Transfer windows are in place because of all the TV money available.TV companies run the game.Transfer deadline day in every country gets the viewers in.Look how they all go on about it on the day with reporters at just about every club.If the TV money dries up then transfer windows will be a thing of the past.

Pretty much spot on, I'd say.

Does anybody any Hoffenheim fans. We should try and find out weather Hoffenheims Club shops have suddenly been replaced by a SD shop. Also keep a look out for the tell tale sign of SD advertising starting to appear in every part the stadium untill it is too late, You wake up one morning to the news that your stadium is now

Yup - that sounds about right.

Maybe another loan in if we sign him permanently.

Yeah, agree with you both. Really, we need to admit that Joelinton isn't working, get shot somehow and buy another striker.

Don't think we should (or could) get shot of him. I still think he could come good in his natural position...

I agree we need a striker so that Big Andy can go back to being backup...what we should do is sell Gayle and his fee can go towards a proper No.9...

    Never going to happen...

Yep and I think it's exciting. The out-of-this-world-transfer-fees-and-wages-problem is a separate thing to me. Players should have the chance to change clubs insofar as the deal is the right for them and their club. And I think it's fine that there are transfer windows for that purpose so that players cannot constantly move about.

Agents and wages are the biggest problem in football for me, not transfer windows. They're part of the excitement.
