Clearly just because a government is absolutely inept that's doesn't mean you can win a GE .

There's enough proof tonight on that .

Whether I like it or not and its pretty clear I have a minority view and the Labour Party can't continue with the path it's taken under Corbyn and expect to be in government .

If 9 years of austerity and rising inequality doesn't present the left the conditions for an election victory then I'm afraid nothing will .

The only sure fire election winner for Labour is the Blair model which in all honesty doesn't do for me but as I've said I'm a minority .

The country will go in whatever direction Johnson wants to take it for the next five years , he can pretty much please himself , there won't even be any subordinates in his party to stop him never mind an opposition .

To be honest I'm done with the whole thing , there's nothing for me other than head down grit my teeth get to retirement , whenever that maybe !!! .

When all is said and done if a bloke with my background couldn't vote for Labour today then I suppose the result isn't surprising after all .
