I bow to your greater knowledge on matters musical Sub, but I do agree, they're bloody good aren't they, even to my untrained ear.

sinkov-- they certainly are and work so hard every week to come up with the goods. All my musician friends tune in just to listen to some great arrangements and tremendous playing.
Politicians would do well to take a leaf out of a musician's mindset ---you only have one chance to get it right and if you don't ---listeners are entitled to say it was crap! Obviously, this applies to many things in life, surgeons, paramedics, firefighters etc., however, it certainly does not apply to politicians who seem to blunder along regardless of the consequences.

I bloody hope that I have not made any typing errors in this post!!

She may have been singing live because the sound was not up to scratch and that has been a problem with a lot of the 'guest' acts on Strictly because the vocals have all been too weak. I have to admit that I wasn't paying attention to her at all so don't know whether or not there was a live band. I didn't rate her anyway --but what do I know?

The Lib Dems can't even keep their leader in her seat. My only consolation on a dreadful night for Labour in Duisburg was that Swindle lost and Jimmy Krankie was in gleeful meltdown watching the count on TV. The Germans were mystified that something so serious was being treated with such disdain. Then the beer and ASBACH got flowing and the Brexit debate started...OMG!
