It's a tough decision for the manager. I agree Clark doesn't deserve to be dropped, but on the other hand Appere gives you that physicality that will concern their back 4. He's got the pace and aggression you want starting a derby. And I think the game will be decided in the first 45. Putting it another way if I was lining up in the Dee defence I'd rather see Clark in Tangerine than Appere.
But I think Robbie will stick with Clark and couldn't really be criticised for that decision.

Yeah tough call, but certainly better than trying to pick the least ****ey line up, as we have had in the past 😂

Also it should be remembered that we have won every game that Clark has started this season, I'd keep him in for that alone.

I think that's why Neilson will start with Clark.
Personally I'd go with Appere because I think he's hungry aggressive and a right physical handful for their nervy sh1te defence.

If Appere starts it will most likely be in place of Stanton, a little unfair as I mentioned but I guess it is Robbie's call. If he thinks it's the way to beat them then it's fine by me, it's all about horses for courses sometimes.

Refreshing to see us "arguing" about who gets dropped when none of them deserve it!

I'd like to be able to squeeze Emil Lyng into the starting line up, but would probably have to put Shankland on the bench to accommodate him. I'm sure sir Lawrence won't mind if it's for the good of the team 😉

While we’re at it, drop McMullen and get in the pub player from Barnet. You know it makes sense.

I think Appere is being managed through the season which at his age is fine. For assists, McMullan and Appere are the driving forces in the team, but when looking at goals, Appere, McMullan and Stanton are on 3 each in the league. Purely for goals, i would have Stanton(11 shots, 82% on target), McMullan(18 shots, 72% on target) both starting, with Appere(18 shots, 44% on target) on the bench.

As for Clark, he has the least minutes, most shots 22, with 41% on target(9) with 6 goals he starts as well!
If I was to pick 2 starters from the 4 you've mentioned then it would be Appere and McMullan all day long.
