    Shrewsbury Town Post Match Thoughts

Well it started well but after about an hour the tree was wilting, the fairy lights were on the blink and all the best Quality Street had been scoffed by the smelly old Auntie in the corner. Then, when you're just about to kick the cat out of frustration, up pops Santa with a late gift and all is well with the world again. All but one team above us at the start of the day failed to win and we're back in the playoffs.

    Thoughts?

A good win, three valuable points but the defensive lapses are still there.

Stop moaning for goodness sake. It's Christmas and we've won away - again! Sat at home, one son watching Charlton on Sky, other son

listening to Charlton on iFollow and we have all won. Doesn't happen very often. Time to celebrate.

I thought that we were the better team throughout. They should have finished with 10 men at most.

Delighted for all 1000 Millers who made the trip and of course all of the team, management and directors.
My mum, dad, brother and sister with a special mention to my wife and kids. All of the people as well with a special thanks to the red wine bottlers of France!

    I thank you all!

    Get in!

One extra bonus is Smiffy's late goal cost Brin a point on the goals scored in the weekly competition

    Moaning? Why is it moaning?

Just pointing out the obvious, it's as much moaning as saying you get wet if it's raining. A point of fact.

An amazing result! 97th minute and Smudge saves the day. With a depleted side we have somehow shown great spirit and clawed what may prove to be a very important win.

    Wycombe - lost
    Ipswich - drew
    Bristol rovers - lost
    Peterborough - lost

Portsmouth now in the mix along with Fleetwood. Oxford still bobbing them in, all to play for, hopefully those around us have to play each other over the festive period, I've not checked them out. Shame we've lost so many, we could have been heading the league now.

I'll take that for the sake of the club bagging 3 points....

You just keep banging on about it. Every team in the world has defensive lapses. It's as inevitable as having the hots for Gabby Logan.
