No Terence it does not , just pointing out that United fans are far from perfect when Derbys are played.

I dont read the local press every day although I like to keep in touch with stuff back home so I must have missed that. But I'm pretty sure it would have come up on here or TEK.
If it happened it's a disgrace.

Defo happened fella and fair play to your good self for saying its a disgrace, the Derby can do without incidents like last nights and and other off field problems.

What we're seeing on here, on DeeMad from ReturnofDross and Gotti and on DBF from several posters is how totally bitter tormented and twisted they have become with their hate of United. They're having real issues dealing with the situation they've found themselves in, and that includes no shiny new stadium.
Ross reckons the Derby nastiness came from within our club at the time of ST but conveniently forgets the stuff that Callum Melville stirred up in some elements of the Dundee support and has gone on for years before ST. They consistently refer to us as the filth, DABS, Dab filth, C**ts, and so on, yet they blame US for the hatred. If it was my club's fans getting in that state, and we never did when they were playing in a league above us, I would want us to take a step back and just calm it all down a bit.
I can understand their frustration because they get no encouragement from their owners and the connection between our owners and the returning support is growing by the week. And if my club let our stadium fall apart I'd be frustrated too. Difference is I'd want to take it out on the club, not the fans of a rival club.

I agree Gen, and when incidents happen from either set of fans that's why it's important that both clubs condemn it if it was from their supporters section. Pleased to read on TDB pictures posted of one the eedjits last night along with fan condemnation. Unlike Gotti who seems to be condoning it on DeeMad.

The key difference Stoke, is that most Utd fans focus on what’s happening with our team/club first and foremost, but in parallel we get a good laugh about what’s happening next door, and why they are called “The Fun”. On the other hand, most Fundee fans focus most on what’s happening with us, more than what’s happening on their doorstep, and it’s why they find themselves in the position/state they are currently in. Everyone knew the Pundit couldn’t manage a fish supper, let alone a football team, but they persisted! Hey-Ho...

ST was running our club badly, picking the cheap management option, and our fans were instrumental in driving him out. We are on our way back, everything is positive around the club at the moment, and the owner’s investment is being repaid by the increasing backing of the fans, and if truth be told, the Funsters just cannae deal with that!! Just wait until they are in their fourth year in the Championship again....the Texans will be long gone, as will most of their fanbase (again), and doubt they will recover tbh....but they will still focus on what’s happening with us!!

I do blame forums and social media and I said that next door. It is interesting their take on it and who they blame.
