5th placed form on a net profit showed how right Rafa was getting it by the end.
I have no doubt that Bruce will get the sack here. Its just a matter of time.I will bet anybody on here that no other Premier League team will ever employ him again once that happens.
Fans at the end of last season had ambition, things were looking up.Ashley couldn't have that and had to do it his way.So enter Steve Bruce to bring everyone back down to earth. So no,I wont give him a chance. He shìt on Sheffield Wednesday to come here so has shown his true colours.
I will say no more on the thread as being realistic is seen as being negative and unless the aŕse of Bruce is licked, unless we all say "well we have more pts than this stage last season" we are shot down.We obviously are not allowed our own opinion.Time will tell.
everyone should be entitled for their own opinion my friend, i just dont like it when people are thought less of it for having that opinion. As said before, this board has become a finger pointing contest at everyone who accepts Bruce.
I have absolutely no faith in the man but he is simply doing what any one of us would do with the tools he has.
Offered the job to manage his home town club ( who wouldnt do that )
Offered the chance to manage the club he supported as a kid ( who wouldnt do that )
Probably talked himself into thinking he may have a chance if he can get a few results.
but incase probabilities are too much for you, look at the cast iron facts! Steve Bruce is doing a better job in his first 10 games as manager of Newcastle United than Rafa Benitez did after years of working with the players.

Forget the net profit. It's not about net profits, it's about getting in players capable of doing a job and training them to do that job.....and also ensuring those that you do buy and have at your disposal, are integrated into the squad system and not outcasted.
Rafa was good at that.
He also had over 3 years and took us backwards. All on 6 million a season and still wanted more wages. For what?
Most managers end up getting the sack. Especially these days with pressure of scrutiny seeping into every nook and cranny of any club, not to mention the sickening wages paid out overall.
Look at all the names that get sacked.
It's about the now that counts because this is what fans look for with the rest simply being hope for.
Too many people are willing to wipe out their own enjoyment and match experience for the sake of looking too far ahead in doom or simply focusing their hatred on certain people who shouldn't really require much of a mention, unless they're deliberately trying to destroy a club....and for that it's fans of the clubs that go bust or are in danger of going bust who really need to worry.
That's far far far from us, so why worry?
Just enjoy the time and whine when we lose or play so dismal it warrants it....but cheer and be happy when we play decent, well, fantastic or even fair if we gain a result.
That's what football is all about.
