I agree Aldo, any stats to back up that Lewis has been pish Rico? I also agree he shouldn't be captain but to say he's been pish is stupid, for what its worth Mckenna should be captain,he plays 99% of the time barring injuries so an outfield player should be captain and he did captain Scotland?

I kinda agree with you, however the issue with making McKenna captain is that he is only ever one impending transfer window from being sold.
The other issue is that there's no other obvious choice. I wouldn't burden Ferguson with the captaincy yet. He's a very good player for us and does have a lot of leadership qualities, but he is also a young loon that needs some more experience (in my opinion)

McKenna needs to learn how to defend first as well. That's why we should have signed a decent, experienced centre half. Same issue with Ferguson, he needs to learn.

For me Lewis was the only choice.

Regarding captaincy, you could give it to Logan. Might be the shot in the arm that he's needed for a while now.

Problem with that is now that Lewis has got it, it looks bad taking it off him.

There's nothing wrong with Lewis being the captain.

Captaincy of a football team is an exaggerated thing.

It’s not like cricket where the captain is constantly making decisions within every over.

We ideally should have 2 or 3 players on the pitch that are seen as “captains”.

Sure there have been a few goalies who have been great captains Oliver Kahn springs to mind. But remember he was operating in a established and very good team (spot the difference). You have to ask what are the attributes that makes a great captain ? IMO to lead by example, to organise and gee up, inspire confidence to those around him, The truth is you just cant have that attributes from within his own 18 yard box. And getting back to DM if he really cant see that he has very bad judgement and lack of basic football knowledge.

Joe Lewis being captain is fairly far down the list of the problems at AFC

On the contrary I think it highlights them. That is McInnes and his utter lack of fitba proficiency ! If he cant see the lack of leadership on the field we are, have been, and will be continued to be phucked.

I’d also say it’s fairly far down the list of examples you could use to show McWinless is sh1te at his job
