No problem. Going to take Jess out for a stroll round the park, then I’ve got a couple of other bits & bobs to do but I’ll fire it up later
Has that f@cking animal been walked yet!?
I'm on tenterhooks...
I’ve left out all the minor niggles like the tactics, bizarre formations, his inability to defend set pieces, the odd 5-1 St Johnstone humping, bottling a cup final, playing for the axis of evil in Morton, Huns & PJMs, ending a two decade long curse at LB by signing the best LB in the country, then not playing him at LB, just to focus on the main points.
I’d say his major management failings are as follows
1 - His smug hun face
2 - Chatting up Huns while we were losing to Huns.
3 - Signing a rapist
4 - Throwing away the Scottish Cup at Ibrox
5 - Spunking shed loads of money on piss poor journeymen
6 - Not bothering his hole with the youth players
7 - Whoring himself out for Milne to push through the Highland Crapshack
8 - Rimming two Glasgow based clubs in the media
9 - Winning the same as Danny Lennon during a golden age of opportunity in Scottish Football
10 - His mentality of not trying to lose a game, rather than trying to win it.
If you want me to expand on any point, I’d be happy to do so but you’ll have heard it all before. I’d say the top 4 are worth the sack, even if you took them all in isolation.
Do you know? I can't disagree with any so far.
Please go on.
I'm no manager myself , but those pretentious notes , culminating yesterday in the note a minute before half time , took the biscuit.
re-signing donkey Taylor who everyone thought we'd seen the back of. A player whose full repertoire of passing consists of straight to the opposition, or if lucky , out of play.
Top 10 things i dislike about McInnes
1) his insistance on playing players out of position
2) his policy of signing injury prone players who surprise surprise end up mostly being injured
3) his mindset that football is a game to avoid losing rather than to try winning
4) his inexplicable formations and tactics that he suddenly tries out for no apparent reason
5) passing notes around the pitch like he's actually got some top secret genius tactical change in mind - embarrassing
6) going into "game management" mode as soon as we ever go into the lead, even if its after 5 minutes.
7) Signing loads of players in the same position when there's a glaring need to sign someone in another position
8) not giving young players a chance when they're on form in the U20s
9) signing players he's never met in person (or probably ever seen playing judging by some of them)
10) Having a loser mentality - spouts a load of excuses and looks at make believe positives even when we're utter garbage rather than just being honest and saying we were crap.
11) persevering with Stevie May for 2 years.
12) Signing Curtis Main.
13) Playing Curtis Main.
I reckon I could give another 87 points on the list if I thought about it enough. The sad thing is until a couple of seasons ago I really did think he was doing a good job - I think he's just gone passed his sell by date and minus the key players who have left, he's been found out to be a pretty hopeless manager.
