I agree, he's had an amazing start all things considered.

Not really, but there are others who have mentioned how useful he could have been over the last few games.

With Stanton away and Clark injured, i had hoped that Cammy Smith could have been my next fanboy crush. Just need to find a better replacement.

One thing that’s not been picked up on is that Nicky Clark has been a significant miss the last few games. More than I thought he would be if I’m being honest. Additionally I wonder if Watson has been told his time is up? Stanton was allowed to leave presumably as he wasn’t being offered a new contract at the end of the season. Same as for Cammy Smith. I wonder if Watson has also been told he’s not going to be offered a new deal so RN is trying to start to go with what he knows he will have available for next season. Hence why Watson is no longer in the starting line up. If so, can’t argue with that because good as he has been Paul Watson is not what we need for the Premiership, but I will have issues if a good CH is not brought in for next season. There’s no danger we can go with Reynolds and Connolly next year.

Watson apparently has a thigh strain.

Worth remembering next season that if we are in top 6 - we have 8 matches against the old firm.

Have to consider which of our players could stand up to matches against top sides and ensure we beat the bottom 6 - Hamilton’s and St Mirrens on regular basis.

We probably need 4 or 5 more at least.

Priority another CB and a creative midfielder. Probably a back up striker in case the worst happens and Shankland leaves

Yes we certainly need to strengthen more, however the difference between the two sides wasn't as far as it would have been under previous regimes so that a massive positive.

I also think that certain players who are doing well at Champ level may struggle against the Prem sides, some will need replaced.

I also believe that some of the players need to be playing and training at a much higher level to improve as we are the ceiling in the Champ and certain players now need pushing to the next level.

Problem is that after promotion there will be no time to improve or acclimatise.

I think this is the biggest factor in Hibs winning the tie. They play at that level every week and we don't. Honestly I think we did brilliantly to make it as competitive as it was and it showed that most of our players will make the step up no problems.
