Absolutely Affshore. In general terms we are not a good team to watch. Our organisation is woeful a lot of the time. We have on average better players than the other teams in the league, but our tactics are poor. We grind out results more than any good football does. We have carried a lot of luck, whilst other teams have thrown theirs away. But for the signing of Shankland we'd be competing with Dundee for a top six spot in THIS league!

I've said this all season. Shankland has papered over the VERY many cracks.

Maybe in the spl we might find that Pawlet is the playmaking midfielder that we need?

If you’ve read any of my previous posts, I raised concerns about Robbie’s ”pick’n’mix” team selection and formation, last season, he continued with that pre-season (where I shared my concerns again), but Shedka & co. rebuked that, only for it to resurrect, 6 games or so into the season, when we had our blip! He seemed to take that onboard, and we went on an amazing run, which I fully acknowledged, but here we are again going through the same experience as before, so for me Robbie has not learnt his lesson!!
I honestly believe there is a decent manager in there, but just like his tutor (Craig Levein), I think he over-thinks things, and I think eventually it will be his downfall. As the saying goes, it it aint broke, don’t fix it, but Robbie can’t resist!!

Hes a player that to me has done next to nothing in games to merit him getting picked or to suggest he would be better in a league up

Out of interest, who was the last playmaking midfielder we actually had?? It seems the last few years, you & I amongst others, have been bleating on about needing a playmaker every transfer window yet here we are, still without one.
