as for rafa i think post rafa and waht bruce is doing a lot will say as a manger rafa wasnt and isnt all that these days as was said a spent force

HOWEVER they liked the fact he tried to embarras ash into spending
however most realsied he went about it the wrong way and put the club in the spotlight for the wrong reasons
and that insome cases it was to hide his poor performances

to be honest pat i know a lot on here who dont go whinge and blame the owner for a lot
but the truth is a supposed world class manager on 6-8 mill a year should have got more

look at the 2017-18 season we finished 10th i believe apart from maybe burnley and everton the clubs above were alla what you could call big well established prem teams
one had recently one the prem the others all were in or had recently been in the champions league all had spent millions and millions

he couldnt do any more and spending millions wouldn have seen us move up many more positions ,so why gamble wiith the clubs finances
to say we finishe maybe 8th instead of 10th ????

last season was the dissapointing one for me and why rafa was allowed to go

we had several teams above us who shouldnt have been there but the season was just so fractious fan against fan Rafa running his contract down whilst holding a gun to ashhlys head
and if we had spent another 50 mill would we have finished much higher
we had a decent forward and a decent side on thw whole
    we just played to defensive
at home and only having one sht on target against many teams none to others

and when you discuss it the fans realsie this
they dont like it as we all want to win the league

truth is RA£A$ gone for the big money
    the chinese want him out
and as i ahve said he is a spent force
he was once a good manager
    not great
    but not for us

he got worse as he concentrated on having public arguments with ash rather than concetrating on what he has and getting us up the league
Well I'm of the opinion that the one and only reason Rafa didn't progress the club as much as he wanted to and as much as he was capable of, was that Ashley did not back him a fraction of the amount as he has backed Bruce, also that he welched on all of the development promises he made to Rafa.

Now you are claiming you say you want Ashley out. How many times over the past few years have you claimed, to be on the contrary side that Ashley was the best thing going for this club.

And the initial question of mine wasn't two piece. As a few on here point out that you can't discus a thread without developing a dig at Rafa, just like your initial post, I again ask you how many fans have you discussed the situations with who support Ashley as to how many are in favouur of Rafa.

It's not a difficult question but one which requires an honest simple answer.

pay i ahve said many times i want ash out
    but not at any cost
he is currently the best going for us
would i want the saudis nope
would iwant an investor like staveley nope
would i want the bloke from manchester who clearly had no money and was buying to make money .nope
why havent those saudis that everyone said was going to buy the club before the se lot slagging ash of and saying it was his fault it all fell theorugh tells me again it was speculation

i have the right to have a dig at Ra£a I DONT NEED TO AGREE WITHANYONE ON WHAT I THINK HE IS
I HAD A DIG BECAUSE I TRULY DIDNT REALSIE JUST HOW ****E HE WAS WHEN HE WENT TO CHINA FINISHING 9TH ICN A ****E LEAGUE
STARTED OFF ALRIGHT TAKING SOMEONE ELSES TEAM OVER .PUT HIS STAM ON IT AND LOST LOADS MORE THAN HE WON

    again i answeres your question
not many if any like me want ash out at any cost

i was amazed yesterday on how many dont want the saudis
a couple even suggetsted ash is now spending money as he has over the last few windows but it isnt getting spent wisely ,whichisnt his fault
a few said it would be a good time now that he is spending to bring Carr back
and i will tell you honestly
the majority of those i talked too think we are more settled under Bruce than Rafa and that there isnt much between the two styles of footy and that because bruce doeant do the dirty washing in public he might get more from ash

and then it was 10 and time efor home

Bruce does do dirty washing in public. HE DOES ASHLEYS DIRTY WASHING IN PUBLIC.

The poor sod dare not do other wise.

And who says it's a good time to bring Carr back. Yes he's a Geordie but what has he done for the club.

Best thing the club could do is get both Keegan and Shearer on the board with the power to over rule Ashley on all things football related.

Rafa was that shìte his signings have scored more goals for the club this season than Bruce's signings, and a new manager normally puts a stamp on a team when he comes on with his players.

    technically is he a geordie
i saw him a few weeks back at an fa coaching session held at northampton

i thought he said he was born near hexham
    something bridge

why dont the likes of kk and shearer sort a take over out

i always wonder why tthe rich who support the toon the footballers pop stars etc dont buy the club
they would only need to guarantee the loan/mortgage
the truth is as someone once said
whats the quickest way to loose a hundred million
    buy a football club
