Reliant regal. Bought it, drove it, through the gates, turned it over as I was waving goodbye. Got the front wheel stuck in a drain in a car wash. Went to start it one morning only to find the engine was missing. I was selling it and someone decided to just take it. Found out who it was and went and confronted them as they were putting it into their car, got my money for it. I used to plan routes via telephone boxes so that I could easily phone for a tow. So many stories with that car, honest.

Sounds like a right donkey does that lol.
Mine was unspectacular of course, but I couldn't knock it because it did what I wanted it to as my first ever car. It was solid and reliable, and it regularly got me from A to B lol.
Three cheers for the Ford Escorts of the 80s & 90s eh.

Volvo 340 as they were built like tanks and I was only 19 and I duly wrote it off on Stourbridge Island turning off at the exit towards Brierley Hill.
