Prediction: Burnley to finish with 47 pts

We are striking at 1.24 pts per game and assuming that's a constant for the rest of the season we should muster 47 pts.

And that's without worrying about who we play.

Considering all of our collective concerns about a lack of transfers in it would appear that our Board got it right by not wasting millions on new players.

Of course, we have yet to see if stats really are infallible.

I think 47 points is achievable. SD has worked his usual miracle and I have this wonderful feeling that we will be the team to burst the Klopp bubble.

First thing I thought on reading that Blue, was that you couldn't begin to assume it would be a constant for the rest of the season, because we must be one of the most inconsistent teams in the PL. Or so I thought until I checked it out, we've played 25 games, if you split them into groups of five, this is the number of points we've got from each group, 5,7,6,6,7. I was wrong, in fact we've been incredibly consistent, maybe that 47 is a reasonable proposition.

    There you go.

We all know stats don't lie!

Leaving West Ham; Watford and Norwich to go down and Aston Villa to stay up--just.

Its a trouble-free stay in the Prem for Burnley--at least until next year.

Mind, they better be prepared to release a lot of money next year as the squad is looking very thin and shaky after the first 11 are taken out and getting that bit older as well.

Will we? Based on all the indicators not a chance in hell.
