My first Albion match (has this already been done?)

28th Feb 1970 Albion 3-3 Wolves - both had good sides. Week before the League Cup Final which we lost 2-1 against City on that mud bath of a pitch.

Remember it well even to this day. Even the cold meat pie at half time.

Season 63-64. I think it was Sheffield Utd at home. Might be mistaken with the opposition as it was 56 years ago but I remember the fact that we lost and I was bored during the game. Who would have thought that it was a precursor of many games to come.

Albion 1 v Ipswich 2 September 1961 managed by Alf Ramsey they won the league that year. Albion captain was Booby Robson. Mom took me and my twin brother, he stopped going after the Wembley 67 loss to QPR he did go to one match last season and said i don't see what you get out of it.
Albion goalscorer was Alex Jackson, i thought he Scottish turned out he's from Tipton where i've lived for the 36 yrs never bumped into him.

Certainly Forest home. Very probably 1962. No chance of getting my usual place on the wall. So many people all around me meaning I couldn't see that much.

    Chelsea at home March 1969.
    We lost 0-3.

Second game April 69 at home v Spurs. 3-1 down and seemingly dead and buried (I think Greaves got 2)
We won 4-3 Hope, Astle (2) and Bomber

I'm told I was taken to a game when I was 6 months old. That would have been in December. What awful parenting!
