Fearing Israeli assassination, Hamas head skips Egypt meet:

Egyptian delegation mediating agreement for calm along Gaza border warns terror group that Israel would deliver tough blow if attacks on population continue, and would have U.S. and international support; Hamas says not interested in escalation but deal must be reached soon.

Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar skipped a meeting on Monday, due to growing fears within the terror group that Israel is planning to assassinate him.

I really have no idea Balan, but why is a soldier aiming a gun at an elderly chap for picking a few salad leaves?

Its good you mention that ,the rifle may be pointed at the elderly man. But in no way is he looking to shoot .In fact it looks like he is pulling out his magazine, removing it.Then he is looking at something, a button, or something near the magazine not at the elderly man. Then if that rifle fired it would hit somewhere between the elderly man and the woman. Strange but that looks like an A K-47 Kalashnikov? The soldier is not in an 'alert' shooting position. He stands with both feet together? Again no IDF solder would be alone ,if that is in the Gaza strip? Even in Judea and Shomron, I would think that it is even in the Galilee ,or anywhere not the Gaza Strip. The soil is simply sand there ,that area seems to have richer soil, look at the amount of vegetation? That rucksack he has seems like he is off somewhere ? ( To catch some transport to his base?)

Tell me why the people are not afraid of the soldier? If there was any fear they would move closer together. The young woman has her hand out as if offering some advice to (the soldier)? If that is a child in front of her her, she would as a mother, naturally hug the child closer to her, seeing an IDF solder with a rifle,as it appears as a danger to both of them. Things do not add up ,so again Pally propaganda?

I show you the Gaza Strip ....lots of sand

A Swallowtail Butterfly ,again almost near the fence ....sand !

S'derot ,an Israeli town 1-2 km's away from the Gaza Strip, here if a rocket is fired from out of the Gaza Strip you have 14-15 secs to find a shelter! Again sand!

    S'derrot:
Palestinian rocket and mortar attacks started in Israel in 2001. Almost all of the incidents were mortar attacks, as the Qassam rocket was first launched on July 10 of the year, and first used against civilian targets in October and November, when four rockets were fired on S'derot in Israel and various Gush Katif settlements in the Gaza Strip.
I was there in 2009 and already rockets had been fired ,and today still they fire at Israel.

S'derot, The square shaped buildings are air raid shelters the majority of people, here have some sort of shelter added to their homes.

.....and still they fire rockets !!!

You have shown us that rusty collection of old hardware many times before Balan.

Let me remind you what a proper rocket looks like...

Very good B T , it shows that you take notice! But any newcomers can now see them. The first rockets were very primatif and if you stood there some 8 years you would also be rusty too. Yes a proper rocket would be from the IDF ,or course

    Stop calling me Balan.

I only ask about the photo BT because you posted it, so presumably you must know something about the circumstances, or are you just posting any anti-Israeli/ anti-semitic propaganda you can get your hands on ? The photo makes no sense, there are three people in a field, presumably they're supposed to be Palestinians, but what are they doing there ? You claim they are innocently picking Thyme, if so and they just wanted a bit for their personal use, why are they in the middle of the field, they could just nick a bit from the edge and no Israeli soldier would have noticed, if they are picking a lot of the stuff, where are their baskets, bags, or anything to put the Thyme in ? There are none, they don't have any. Why is an intelligent man like yourself insulting our intelligence by posting clearly staged propaganda photos ? Have you no shame ?

When you live under the Occupation of Armed Forces, I suppose you can't just nick a bit from the edge and hope no Israeli soldier would notice sinkov.

The picture shows four civilians and one armed soldier. Read into that what you will.
