Not surprised at the performance or the result. Apart from 5 or 6 games this season, that is how we've played.

I dont think there are many who dont want us to sign as many better players as possible, its the fact that realistically we would do more damage making wholesale changes than we would by adding a few key players a window at a time whilst consolidating. Anyone watching that tonight and recently can see we need a back 4 or at least 3 of them excluding Smith, after a good start to the season Robson has shown his crossing is crap and we should be looking to have better with him backup.

We need 2 or 3 wingers and a creative mid

As much as i criticise Pawlett, i think hed be better in an open end to end match up a level if played thru middle. He is just absolutely pointless out wide against defensive teams

The most depressing thing about tonight is the performance wasn't in the least bit a surprise.

Its almost like the start of the season again when he messed the defence around to compensate for not having a left back, when every fan could see it wasn't working. At what point does he realise 3 central mids shoehorned into a 4-4-2 doesn't work. Rather than change it tactically, the answer 2nd half seemed to be to play exactly the same way but a little bit quicker!
