    JRods missed easy easy chance ,wonder if he was offside or not? MOTD never even showed it .the Numpties

    The referee awarded a goal kick after Jay had missed. He overruled the AR who had wrongly flagged because the ball was played back by the Toon player. Whether seeing the flag go up had had an effect on Jay is open to debate, however, he should have scored but didn't!

    yes,he should have scored.. Newcastle are in danger of going down along with Brighton unless they start scoring again..

    I don't think Jay could have seen the flag go up, the liner was quite late and Jay was already away and gone and lining his shot up when the flag eventually went up, in the replay you can just see it at the bottom of the screen. It was a shocking miss really, he wasn't even close, and unless he has eyes in the back of his head he couldn't have known the liner had flagged him.
