I am not a popular poster on here, I do not intend to be offensive, I just state the obvious, which sometimes I suspect people, don’t particularly like. Do I actually give a hoot. No I don’t.

Don’t go, even if it is just for the sake of your good lady and family. Save them the worry. The Baggies will survive without you for a few games I’m sure. That fact you are on here asking suggests you know the answer already.
The problem with some older fans is this though BMG.........they have an attendance record almost beyond reproach over 40,50,60 years and they put too much pressure on themselves to attend.

With Lloyd listing his many complaints and the concerns of his wife it does make one wonder why the question is even being asked?

Maybe the hope that there will be a favourable “confirmation bias” from the guys on here to attend.

I think attending is a poor decision because you won’t know for two weeks if you caught it and passed it on or not.

If it were me I’d be avoiding all matches until this crisis is over.

I have been making the arrangements to come to the game on Saturday, together with my son and baggieboyGeoff (remember him?), with a visit to the curry house afterwards. I went to a music gig last Friday and did consider not going, so even considering not going to a gig amongst 200/300 people makes the idea of going to a football match amongst 25,000 look somewhat iffy! I have just read that someone in Dudley has died from this bug, worrying. I will be thinking very carefully before the weekend about this; I know that the sensible thing is not to go but then again, I am an Albion fan! I am 72 and have a minor cardiac problem, so should I be going to a football match? The answer is actually quite obvious; we shall see...........

I see what you say Mick, and I understand that. My initial thought was lucky them, going to the the Albion for all those years, then I thought of all the pain that may have caused.

Seriously though, I am in my early sixties, how I got here God only knows, seems like only yesterday That I was sat in school. Being that age means I am in the risk age group, however, I’m fortunate to have no underlying health issues. If I’d did have underlying health issues I would not even be considering going. If the good Lady was saying don’t go, well I don’t I would be questioning her. Perhaps I am a little under the thumb!

Seriously Soulman (Lloyd) don’t risk it. Better you keep yourself safe and wait until this super bug has passed and then go to many games rather than possibly just this one.

Sorry if I was a little blunt with my initial post, I had no intention to offend.
