I work at a newspaper in Tel Aviv and we’ve just been told to work from home for the foreseeable future (same situation at many U.S. newspapers, I believe). Schools and universities here have just shut for a month, too. All being done to stop the virus spreading too quickly - social distancing.

A company over here reckons it has just cracked the vaccine for Covid-19, but it will still take ages for all of the clinical trials. Part of the thinking is to be over-the-top now, slow the spread, and then they’ll be in a better position to cope in six months’ time or a year.

Bizarre watching the Europa League games - Man U playing in front of 500 in Austria, no one at the Frankfurt-Basel game, but business as usual at the game in Turkey.

Only a matter of time before Premier League games are behind closed doors. Probably the same in the Championship. Lower league clubs could generally tell fans to spread out and not sit next to each other, but it’s still taking a small risk. And much as we all love Notts, everyone’s health must come first. I’ll put my faith in the experts.
