Been announced that a man aged 59 from Bristol sadly passed away with the coronavirus, which at the moment is the youngest victim of the virus.

State of California issues mandatory isolation orders for all over 65s. Haven't seen CT on here recently so hoping he's OK after the knee op?

Three school children from Kendray Academy have tested positive for the virus as of today , less than a mile from where I reside in Ardsley .

I sincerely hope they make a full recovery but it's a real reality and wake up call .

Take care everyone and please respect this thing .

No you aren't indestructible and we all hang by the cards we have in our hand right now and no you can't change them from the dealer .

What point are you actually trying to make with all due respect ?

The reality is we don't know how much the infection has been passed on to other people and from what we know so far from its origins in China it's spread massively rapidly .

Quote me figures in two weeks time and you are looking at figures in terms of thousands in my opinion .

It's real and its taking lives by the thousand , you will know somebody who has lost their life to this virus .

    Trust me you will .

For comparison, the State of Washington where I live had the first US case of COVID-19 8 weeks ago and the first US death 2 weeks ago when there were only around a dozen cases. One week ago we had 100 cases, today we have 750 cases and 41 deaths (29 all in one building). Friday I learned a coworker has tested positive, today a worker at the supermarket where we shop tested positive.

All good thanks CAM. My current immobility means I'm pretty well confined to the house at the moment. I’m supposed to start out-patient physiotherapy sessions next Friday (in Lafayette) and will need to take advice on what I’m allowed to do.

Good to hear you are well CT.

All bars, gyms, restaurants and Starbucks (except for take out) ordered to close here in WA from tomorrow.

Only one new corona virus case in Japan today - whatever they are doing to contain the virus seems to be working. Very bad situation in Italy - more active corona virus cases than China now
