I take your post as tongue in cheek.
However in a battle between humans and nature...there is always only one winner. Nature. The earth is in a bad way and people won't change for whatever reasons. All the evidence is out there,regardless of your belief system. If humans can't make the correct intelligent decisions to preserve themselves and the planet then the decision is taken out of their hands by evolution.
Nature always wins. These cuts in emissions should have been taken by intelligent humans. They were not. The ramifications are all now humanity's.
